Managers usually have skill ratings scattered across scorecards, spreadsheets, and 1:1 notes — but rarely see them side by side. Paste your team's ratings across a shared competency set below and this tool builds a red-to-green heatmap of every rep against every skill, ranks the competencies dragging the team down, and flags which reps could mentor which.
1. Gather each rep's rating (1–5 or 1–10) across the same competency set — from QA scorecards, manager 1:1 notes, or a training/certification assessment. 2. Paste into the box as CSV: row 1 is headers (Name, optional Team/Role, then one column per competency); every row after that is one rep. 3. Set the rating scale, gap threshold, and proficiency target to match your own rubric — there's no universal "good" score. 4. Read the heatmap for individual gaps (red cells), the ranked list for where team-wide coaching will move the average fastest, and the recommendations for who could mentor whom.
If team performance keeps coming up in your 1:1s, the gap is usually structural, not effort. The Mastery Diagnostic measures your team against a written 27-framework standard in two weeks, and tells you exactly where the layer breaks.
