Elevator Pitch Builder

Fill in who you help, the problem they face, what you do about it, what makes you different, and one proof point. The builder assembles a 30-second and a 60-second version instantly, estimates how long each actually takes to say out loud, and flags filler words and sales clichés before they end up in front of a prospect.

Your numbers

Optional — skip it and the pitch opens with just a greeting.
Optional.
A short phrase — who exactly you help. Specific beats broad.
Completes "who struggle with ___" — their pain, in their words, not yours.
One full sentence. Plain language — no jargon.
Completes "Unlike most alternatives, we ___". If a competitor could say it too, it isn't one.
A real number or name. Vague pitches don't stick.
Name one specific next step, not "let's stay in touch".
Changes connecting phrases only — your content stays the same.

Method & assumptions

  • Timing assumes ~140 words per minute, a typical conversational business speaking pace — your natural pace may run 15-20% faster or slower, so time yourself aloud rather than trusting the estimate alone.
  • The 30-second script covers who/problem/solution/ask; the 60-second version adds your differentiator and proof point — the two beats that make a pitch memorable rather than just accurate.
  • Jargon and filler scanning checks against a fixed list of common sales clichés and hedge words — it flags patterns, it doesn't grade your writing.
  • This produces a first draft, not a final script. Cut anything that doesn't sound like you, then memorize the beats — not the exact words.

How to use it

Fill in who you help, the problem they're stuck with, what you do about it, what makes you genuinely different, and one proof point with a real number or name. Pick a tone. The builder assembles a 30-second and a 60-second script immediately, estimates how long each takes to actually say out loud, and flags filler words or sales clichés. Edit any field and both scripts update live — then read them aloud against a stopwatch before using them on a real call.
