Prospecting Tech Stack Directory (Deliverability, Data, Sequencing, Intent)
A category map of outbound infrastructure — deliverability, data, sequencing, and intent — with the leading vendors in each and the order to build the stack in.
What's inside
- The 4-category map of outbound infrastructure
- Leading vendors in Deliverability
- Leading vendors in Data & Enrichment
- Leading vendors in Sequencing / Engagement
- Leading vendors in Intent / Signals
- How the four categories flow into each other
- The recommended build order and why
- What to add each layer for (and when it's premature)
Deliverability
Protects the sending domain everything else depends on.
- Folderly — AI-driven deliverability optimization and spam-placement diagnostics
- Warmup Inbox / Mailwarm — automated inbox warm-up for new domains/mailboxes
- Mailreach — dedicated warm-up and reputation monitoring layered onto any ESP
- GlockApps — spam-placement testing across major inbox providers before a big send
Data & Enrichment
Supplies accurate targets and context.
- ZoomInfo — deep enterprise contact/intent database
- Apollo.io — combined contact database + engagement platform
- Cognism — phone-verified international data, EMEA strength
- Clearbit / Breeze Intelligence — real-time enrichment API
- Lusha — lightweight contact/company data with a strong browser extension
- Clay — enrichment + AI-orchestrated data "waterfalls" across multiple sources
Sequencing / Engagement
Executes the multi-touch, multi-channel plan.
- Outreach — enterprise sales engagement platform, deep reporting and CRM sync
- Salesloft — comparable enterprise category, strong conversation-intelligence tie-in
- Apollo.io — data + sequencing combined, strong SMB/mid-market fit
- Smartlead / Instantly — high-volume email-first sequencing with native deliverability tooling
- Reply.io — multichannel sequencing with AI-assisted personalization
Intent / Signals
Tells you who to point the rest of the stack at, and when.
- Bombora — B2B intent data from a large content-consumption co-op
- 6sense — account-based intent and predictive prioritization
- Clearbit Reveal / Warmly / RB2B — identifies anonymous website visitors and surfaces them as signals
- G2 Buyer Intent — surfaces accounts actively researching your category on G2
How the Stack Fits Together
`` Intent/Signals → identifies priority accounts ↓ Data/Enrichment → builds the contact and account picture ↓ Sequencing/Engagement → executes the outreach plan on schedule ↓ Deliverability → protects the sending domain so everything above actually lands in an inbox ``
Recommended Build Order
- Deliverability first — it's foundational and cheap; a broken sending domain makes every other layer worthless.
- Data second — you can't personalize or sequence against contacts you don't have.
- Sequencing third — once you have clean data, you need a system to execute against it consistently.
- Intent last — usually the most expensive layer; add it once your volume and account-based maturity actually justify prioritizing WHO to target before HOW.
How to use it
Match your current gap to one of the four categories, pick 1–2 vendors from that section, and build the stack in the recommended order rather than buying every layer at once.
