Is My Pipeline Healthy? Self-Assessment Quiz

Answer 12 questions about your pipeline's shape using your actual CRM data to get an instant health score out of 36, plus your top 3 fixes mapped to the exact companion resource that addresses each.

How to use it

Pull your CRM data and answer all 12 questions honestly before a QBR or pipeline review, total your score for the health band, then take your three lowest-scoring questions straight into the matching companion resource.

What's inside

  • 12 scored questions covering confirmed next-steps, single-threading, coverage ratio, deal aging, close-date pushes, concentration risk, pipeline growth, economic-buyer verification, junk pipeline, stage-definition consistency, mutual action plans, and forecast accuracy
  • 0-3 point scoring scale per question with concrete thresholds
  • 36-point total scoring bands: Healthy, Functional but fragile, At risk, Unhealthy
  • A results table matching your 3 lowest-scoring questions to the specific companion resource that fixes each

Answer each question honestly using your actual CRM data, not your general impression. Score as indicated.

Scoring

Total possible: 36 points

  • 30–36: Healthy. Pipeline is a reliable planning asset. Maintain the discipline that got you here.
  • 21–29: Functional but fragile. Specific weak spots exist, identify your 3 lowest-scoring questions and treat those as this month's priority.
  • 12–20: At risk. Multiple structural issues are compounding. The forecast number cannot be trusted without manual scrutiny of every deal.
  • Below 12: Unhealthy. Pipeline math will not predict revenue. Stop and rebuild qualification and stage discipline before trusting any rollup number.

Find your top 3 fixes

List your three lowest-scoring questions here, then match to the fix:

Lowest-scoring questionCompanion resource to fix it
Q1, Q11 (next steps / mutual action plans)Deal Review Checklist
Q2, Q6 (single-threading / concentration)Champion Tracker Template
Q3, Q7 (coverage / pipeline generation)Pipeline Coverage Ratio Calculator

The single most important question this template forces

After scoring, ask: which single question, if fixed first, would move the most other scores with it? Usually it is Q1 (confirmed next steps) or Q10 (shared stage definitions), both are upstream of most of the others.
