Competitor Battlecard Template

A fill-in-the-blank battlecard for neutralizing 'we're also looking at [competitor]' in real time, covering positioning, differentiators, pricing comparison, and common FUD.

What's inside

  • Fill-in fields for positioning, strengths, and weaknesses per competitor
  • A top-3-differentiators section to lead with in real time
  • A FUD table for rebutting what competitors say about you
  • Landmine questions to plant doubt before they raise the competitor
  • A pricing/packaging side-by-side comparison table
  • A win/loss stat line and reference-customer field
  • Ownership and update-cadence guidance to keep it current

A fill-in-the-blank battlecard your reps can pull up in real time the moment a prospect says "we're also looking at [Competitor]." Fill one out per named competitor and keep it to one page — battlecards that require scrolling don't get used mid-call.

How to Keep This Alive

Assign one owner per competitor battlecard. Update it every time a rep loses or wins a deal where that competitor was named, and review all battlecards as a team quarterly or immediately after a competitor's pricing/feature announcement.

How to use it

Complete one battlecard per named competitor with your product/sales team, keep it to one page, and pull it up the moment a competitor is mentioned on a call.
