Call Coaching Feedback Template
A structured one-pager for logging strengths, gaps, and one committed next action after every call review, so coaching compounds instead of repeating.
What's inside
- Call details header (rep, account, call type, reviewer, date)
- Strengths section (2-3, written in SBI form)
- Gaps section, capped at 1-2, prioritized not exhaustive
- Committed next action field — one thing, specific, measurable
- Rep self-reflection section completed by the rep, not the manager
- Skill-development link tying the call to career/role/results growth
- Manager tracking log across reviews with a closed-out check
One page, every call review, no exceptions. The goal isn't to log every observation — it's to compound one committed change at a time.
Call details
- Rep: [Name]
- Call reviewed: [Account / prospect name, date]
- Call type: [Discovery / Demo / Negotiation / Renewal]
- Reviewed by: [Manager/coach name]
- Date of review: [Date]

Strengths (2–3, specific — use SBI: Situation → Behavior → Impact)
1. 2. 3.
Gaps (1–2 max, prioritized — do not list every flaw, pick what matters most)
1. 2.
Committed next action
One thing. Specific. Owned by the rep. Measurable on the next call.
- Action:
- What "done" looks like on the next call:
- Follow-up date:
Rep reflection
Filled in by the rep, not the manager — this is where it becomes their plan, not just feedback they received.
- What's your own read on how that call went?
- What will you actually do differently next time?
Link to skill development
- Named skill this ties to: [from coaching plan / competency model]
- How this call connects to their broader growth arc: [1 sentence — career/role/results relevance, not just "do better next time"]
Manager tracking (across reviews — keep a running log per rep)
| Date | Call | Committed action | Closed out? (Y/N) | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Rule: If last review's committed action isn't closed out, that's the first thing on this review's agenda — before any new feedback gets added.
How to use it
Fill this out immediately after every call review (live or recorded), have the rep complete their own reflection section before your next 1:1, and check the committed action from the last review before adding a new one.
